The Rockstar Games Launcher has now been down for over 24 hours and we still don’t know the exact reason.
Yesterday was the official release of the GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. The PC version of the games is exclusively available in the Rockstar Launcher. The PC version has been removed from Rockstar’s own website as of last night, and the Rockstar Games Launcher program is no longer available. Anyone who purchased the remastered collection before it was removed from the market is unable to play it at the moment.
As of now, the Rockstar Launcher is offline and as a result, all Rockstar PC games, including Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto Online, are presently unplayable.
The Rockstar Support Twitter account states that’s just a “temporarily offline for maintenance”. This means all the services including the GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition should be online as soon as the problem is fixed.
“We thank you for your patience and understanding,” they said to all the people who bought the game, and now due to the servers being offline can’t access their game. This is really unusual, as servers are rarely offline for so long.
